EMMET TOWNSHIP, MI -- A woman was injured by a baseball-sized chuck of concrete that smashed through her windshield on Interstate 94.

Marshall couple Craig and Sue Kempf were driving westbound on I-94 around 1:25 p.m. April 30 when a 4-inch chunk of concrete was kicked up from the shoulder near mile marker 101 and crashed through their vehicle. The concrete struck Sue, 62, fracturing her right arm in three places and sticking between the passenger's seat and door frame of their Ford F-150.

DEARBORN, Mich. - A road in Dearborn has destroyed multiple tires for one resident and city council members are placing the blame on the state.

Wyoming Avenue near Michigan Avenue in Dearborn is falling apart. Dearborn resident Mike Hacham has had seven tires blown on this road since January.

He has the repair bills to back his story up, and to make matters worse, he blew his spare in a pothole, too.
